I developed the visual identity, logo system, product labels, catalog layout, stationery and product presentation to create a cohesive and sophisticated brand experience across both physical and digital touchpoints. The design focuses on premium typography, clear hierarchy, refined packaging architecture and strong shelf presence.

Found this while flipping through a Japanese book of vintage canned food labels and decided to give one a rework. Same ham, completely different shelf presence.
Vintage approach: hand painted illustration, full color, a lot happening at once.
Modern approach: vectorial line work, no color, one pattern and narrow type system holding the whole label together.
I need to know, if these two were sitting next to each other in a store, which one would you actually reach for?

Variable is an AI-powered platform for teachers. I worked closely with the founders to build a brand identity that balanced innovation and playfulness. The Variable team had a strong vision for the brand’s personality, but defining its visual direction required extensive collaboration, including discovery sessions, a company name change, custom typography exploration, and numerous concept iterations. The completed logo includes a custom handwritten wordmark paired with a playful geometric element inspired by early education.
