Putting a set of eyes on a logo👀 doesn't give it personality or make it a mascot.
Give it some attitude, a bit of weirdness, something people actually remember. That's what I try to do when I build a brand around a mascot.

Those mascots have real personality. The billboard colors are so fun.
Seeing the same blobby characters scaled up as sculptures outside the Palatul Copiilor building is a nice stress test for a mascot system. Did you shape them with the 3D versions in mind from the start, or adapt the flat poster versions afterward?
