🕷️ Spider-Man — Interactive Visual Experience A project I studied in Nasser Yousef's class — and one that completely shifts how you think about the web. superspider.site is a cinematic, game-inspired interactive experience built around a spider vigilante. What makes the process especially interesting: it started as a Figma design and was then translated into code by hand — no frameworks, just a deep understanding of the craft. What makes it stand out: → Designed in Figma, built in vanilla HTML, CSS & JS → 3 distinct perspectives to explore (Idle, Action, Suit) via dynamic video switching → GSAP 3 for orchestrated animations and SplitText for letter-by-letter reveals → Lenis for that smooth, natural scroll feel → SVG Inject for fully styleable vector assets → Cinematic layout with bold typography and dark atmosphere No React. No Vue. Not every website needs a complete redesign.
Sometimes the foundation is already there – it just needs a fresh perspective. An audit can uncover what's creating friction, where visitors get lost, and what small changes can make the biggest impact.
For this Kajabi project, we started with a full website audit, mapped out our recommendations, redesigned the updates in Figma, and then implemented everything on the live site. I’m exploring two homepage hero directions for a Lumena Health concept and testing which one feels stronger for a preventive healthcare brand.
Both directions focus on the same core message: healthcare built around prevention, not reaction.
Direction 1 feels more warm, human, and consultation-focused.
The large lifestyle image creates a clear patient/provider moment right away, which helps the experience feel personal and trustworthy.
Direction 2 feels more premium, editorial, and brand-driven.
The dark green background, centered headline, and image collage make the page feel more elevated and visually distinctive.

Direction 1's consultation-focused warmth feels like it'll convert better for anxious first-time patients, but Direction 2's premium editorial feel might build more trust with referral sources. Did you already have a lean going in, or are you genuinely torn?
When Joshua Tree Senior Living approached me, they didn't need "another website."
They needed a website that made families feel something.
Choosing a senior living community is one of the biggest decisions a family will make. People aren't comparing features—they're looking for reassurance. They're asking:
"Will my loved one be happy here?"
That question shaped every design decision.
Instead of starting with colors and layouts, I started with the story.
We used the StoryBrand framework to reposition Joshua Tree as more than a place to live. It became a place to belong.
Here are a few of the key decisions behind the project:
🏡 We sold a feeling, not a facility.
The homepage doesn't begin with amenities. It begins with comfort, connection, and the promise of feeling at home.
🎯 Every section had one job.
Each section answers a different question visitors naturally have:
• Can I trust this community?
• Will my loved one be safe?
• Will they make friends?
• What's the next step?
Removing confusion makes taking action much easier.
🎨 The design reflected boutique hospitality.
Rather than the typical clinical blue healthcare palette, we built around the warmth of their terracotta brand color, soft neutrals, elegant typography, and generous white space to create an experience that feels welcoming and premium.
🖋️ Copy was treated as part of the design.
Beautiful layouts can't compensate for unclear messaging. Every headline was rewritten to speak to emotions before features.
📱 The experience was designed for two audiences.
The future resident and their adult children often visit the website together. The messaging needed to create confidence for both.
The final result is a boutique Webflow website that reflects the same warmth, care, and attention visitors experience when they walk through Joshua Tree's doors.
One reminder this project reinforced for me:
Good websites don't simply communicate information. They reduce uncertainty.
That's often the difference between someone leaving... and someone scheduling a tour.
