Went with Hero Reveal, that shot has more patience to it and makes the ocean feel earned rather than just shown. The 3D object opening is clean too, but it reads more like a product demo than a showreel intro.

I would open on the Hero Reveal. A reel has about two seconds to earn attention, and a brand moment reads faster than a 3D object the viewer still has to decode.
