i'm zeynep,

a creative marketer & multidisciplinary designer interested in why people pay attention to certain things, and why they remember them.

my background is in international relations, the reason why i chose to study this field was because i was interested in politics, sociology and culture, alongside an interest in independent journaling & communications. with time, my interest in creating visually pleasing pieces came to the surface, and i decided to blend these together by being a creative marketer.

I'm also building ROUGE, AN İNDEPENDENT CULTURE AND BRAND PUBLİCATİON. İ EXPLORE ADVERTİSİNG, PEOPLE AND THE LİTTLE THİNGS THAT SHAPE popular culture. i make short cinematic edits and post the things that i like from the internet's archive.

whether i'm working on a brand identity project, or my magazine, the common thread is the same: connecting with people, inspiring and being inspired, teaching and being taught new things. understanding what people pay attention to, what makes an idea tick and how to turn that insight into something worth engaging with.
