I am a designer who sticks to the 3D modeling side. I use Solidworks mainly, but I can expand to use most other software as well. But as an engineer, I think many times the aesthetic aspect of the design is overlooked. And I expanded my 3D modeling to include animation and photorealistic images. This was a great way for my clients to show off their designs to their customers without being boring.
