I have spent nine years building backend services and the Kubernetes platforms under them, most of it in Go.

Most recently I was on the service-mesh team at Salesforce, which runs Istio across nearly 1,000 production clusters on AWS and GCP. I built a config analyzer there that catches routing, resilience and certificate mistakes before they turn into tickets. Before that I extended Cluster API at VMware so edge Kubernetes clusters could upgrade nodes in place, and at NetApp I wrote Go services, talking gRPC, that provisioned whole Kubernetes clusters on GCP.

I also built and run Zaksha, a parental-control service with paying subscribers. The backend, DNS filtering, AWS setup and billing are all mine. Recently I moved its live database from SQLite to Postgres on RDS behind a 73-case contract test suite.

Send me Kubernetes or EKS setups, Go backend work, CI pipelines that are slow or flaky, database migrations, and infrastructure nobody on the team wants to touch.
