This part took more work than I expected.🥲
I first tried using a particle system for the fabric felt, but once I duplicated the speaker, the scene got really heavy. I had to switch to a felt geometry node setup which made things lighter and easier to tweak

I started this project by playing with how fabric fuzz catches light, and how lighting reveals detail without overpowering it.
There was a lot of back and forth behind this piece, especially around the fabric and lighting, until everything felt balanced.
