A client rejected 3 of my poster concepts.

Iโve been saving fonts a lot lately.
Not because I need another 100 fonts sitting in my folder ๐
Some styles just keep showing up in designs, branding, posters, and social content โ and I wanted to see which ones are actually worth paying attention to.
So I put together 5 font trends Iโve been seeing more and more lately.
Some are bold.
Some are weird.
Some probably wonโt work for every project.
But thatโs what makes them interesting.

I used to just throw two fonts together and hope they matched.
They rarely did.
Font pairing isn't random โ it's contrast. One font does the talking (bold, expressive), the other stays quiet and just supports it. Get that balance right and even a simple design looks expensive.
Swiped through 5 pairings I actually use in real project work โ each one built the same way, one statement font + one supporting font.
Save this before your next design.
A good pairing won't save a bad design. But a bad pairing will ruin a good one.
