In here, I will create up to 3 thumbnails for

• your YouTube video
• your Instagram post cover

using Photoshop and Illustrator!



Creating a thumbnail(s)/post cover(s) can be tedious or take more time than it should because there isn't a clear vision. In my gallery, I try to make things easier by starting off with a few simple questions:

• How many thumbnail iterations would you like for a single project, the maximum being 3?
• YouTube or Instagram?
  • For YouTube, the thumbnail size is 1280x720 pixels.
  • For Instagram, there are multiple sizes at play depending on the type of post (e.g. feed, reel cover, etc.). Here is a comprehensive list for you to look through!
• Should I emulate your already established style?
  • If yes, do you have resources (e.g. fonts) you usually use that I should have access to? If so, please do send them as a .zip! 🗂️
• Do you want a totally new design? If so:
  • Would you rather I emulate a particular style, or you give me creative freedom? If you chose the latter, do you still have an idea of what it/they should be like? Let me know! ✨
  • Should the thumbnail(s) have your face present or not? If so, would you rather send me a high quality photo of you or should I take a screenshot of you from the video you'll need the thumbnail(s) for?
• Is there any relevant/necessary information that should appear on the thumbnail(s)? (e.g. a particular phrase, object or person)
• Anything else I should know?

After those questions are answered and the potential resources sent, let's get to painting! 🖌️
