"Je viens du Bénin, Terre de Béhanzin..."

It means "I come from Benin, Home of Behanzin", the first lyrics from the song BENIN by Djidoh Music (also known as Jeejoh).

One week before Benin's Independence Day (the 1st of August) in 2021, Djidoh contacted me: he made a song to celebrate our country's independence and wanted a lyrics video to accompany it! 🔤🎞️

I wanted certain elements/visuals to be in this lyrics video, elements that remind the viewer of Benin and Africa:

The font used

The backgrounds are reminiscent of the "WAX" fabric, very popular in Benin and West Africa

The images are landmarks/objects present in Benin and illustrates the corresponding lyrics

And other elements to create an old/vintage vibe:
