"In short: make it DYNAMIC!"



From March 2022 to October 2023, I worked on a full-time basis with Chris Conte, a multi-potential YouTuber and writer. I mostly edited talking heads for his reaction channel, Astro Fécond.

Starting March 2023, it was decided that the videos I edited for Astro Fécond will be repurposed into TikToks with added subtitles 💬.

They had to be:

• 1 to 2 colors,
• Animated
• With emojis,
• With accompanying SFX,

In short: make it DYNAMIC!

What made it extra challenging, was matching a word(s) to an action/concept! 😅

From the previous example and the first one below, I added a fire/burning effect to the words "700°C" and "brûler" because they recall fire and high temperatures:

With this example, I made some words "jump" because that is the action in question:

And with this one, I added an "electricity" effect to the word "l'électricité" because the word literally means "electricity":
