Who this service is for:
Do you have an existing digital product that needs improvement, but not sure where to start?
Are you working on a new digital product and need a final round of design audits before development? Doing this will save you and your developers a lot of time and money in the future.
What is included:
In this service, I'll provide a comprehensive UX design audit. This includes identifying usability issues and areas for improvement within your digital product.
To conduct this audit, I will be looking at various aspects of the user experience, such as navigation, legibility, content, information hierarchy, and the overall UX and UI design.
The goal:
The goal is to improve the product's or feature's usability, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience, which will then boost overall user engagement. A product that is enjoyable to use will naturally attract more interactions and foster user loyalty.
This service is crucial for:
new businesses looking to launch an MVP and MLP (minimum lovable product)
existing businesses looking to improve user satisfaction increase their conversion rate.

Process

Project Prep:
2. Heuristic Evaluation
Usability Principles: Evaluate the product against established usability principles (e.g., Nielsen’s heuristics) to identify obvious usability flaws.
3. Accessibility Evaluation
Check the product against accessibility standards compliance (e.g., WCAG) to ensure it can be used by people with various disabilities. (the scope of this will also depends on the client's target audience)
Document any accessibility issues or potential issues identified during the evaluation.
6. Audit Report and Prioritizations of Issues
Compile the findings from the evaluations into a comprehensive report.
Prioritize identified issues based on their impact on the user experience and the product's or feature's business goals.
7. Design Recommendations
Actionable Recommendations will be provided based on the identified issues.

Based on the audit reports, prioritizations, and recommendations, I will propose a draft timeline for which issues should be worked on first
Note: This document only looks at the UX and its impacts on the user experience. I understand that other factors will affect a product timeline, such as manpower availability, development time, and budget. Hence this proposed Next Steps document is only meant to assist clients make the best decisions for their next steps.

    UX audit report document, this is typically on Google doc or google slides. This may also be done on figma for UX audits of an upcoming design, where I am auditing a design that has not been launched yet.

    A list of actionable and strategic design improvements based on the audit findings to help optimize the website or app experience. This will be divided into different categories: must-have and good-to-have.

  • Suggested Next steps

    We will look at the audit findings, design improvement suggestions, and the time and effort needed for each of these suggestions and propose a draft timeline for execution. This document is meant to help the client make the necessary decisions on their next steps after the audit is completed.
