The Challenge

Austin Abel Foundation was doing meaningful work on the ground - feeding the less privileged, supporting education, and running empowerment programs for underserved communities across Nigeria. But without a professional website, their story existed only in the communities they served. They had no digital presence to show potential donors, institutional partners, or volunteers what they stood for and what they'd built.
They needed more than a website. They needed a platform that could communicate the weight of their mission at first glance - one that made every visitor feel the urgency to get involved.

What I Built

7-page WordPress website designed and developed in under a week
Homepage with a bold, mission-led hero — "Giving Hope. Transforming Lives." - paired with clear CTAs to donate and explore their programs
About Us page communicating their core values: seeing the person before the problem
Programme page showcasing all 10 initiatives: Humanity & Community Support, Education & Learning, Skills & Empowerment, Livelihood & Economic Opportunity, Youth Development, and Women & Family Empowerment e.t.c
Impact page with animated counters tracking programs running, groups served, and focus on the less privileged
Get Involved page with three clear pathways: Volunteer, Donate, and Partner
Contact page with full organization details, phone, email, and physical address
Dedicated Donate page with a streamlined giving flow to reduce drop-off
Newsletter subscription integrated for ongoing donor and community engagement
Social media integration (Facebook, Instagram) for community reach
Mobile-optimized across all devices - built for a Global audience browsing on mobile
SEO-friendly structure with fast-loading pages via Elementor on WordPress

The Process

I started by immersing myself in Austin Abel Foundation's mission language - phrases like "we see the person before the problem" and "restoring hope and human dignity" became structural anchors for the entire site. Every page was built around that tone: warm, direct, and action-oriented.
I prototyped the layout rapidly using Lovable, then moved into full production on WordPress with Elementor, giving the team a site they could manage independently after handoff.
The Programs section was designed to showcase the breadth of their work clearly - ten distinct initiatives, each with its own identity but unified under one compassionate mission.
The donation flow and "Get Involved" pathways were treated as conversion priorities not afterthoughts.
Every page was structured to move a first-time visitor from curiosity to commitment in as few clicks as possible.
The full 7-page website was designed, developed, and delivered in under a week.

The Result

Austin Abel Foundation launched with a professional, emotionally resonant website that gives them the digital credibility to approach funders, attract volunteers, and grow their donor base.
The site reflects the dignity of the people they serve and positions the organization as a serious, trustworthy institution ready to scale its impact across Nigeria.
