Velour is a curated fashion e-commerce app for iOS and Android, designed for people who don't settle for generic shopping experiences. The core problem was clear: most fashion apps overwhelm users with noise, break down at checkout, and offer no real connection between buyers and sellers.

I started with a thorough problem diagnosis before designing anything. Six core issues were identified: overwhelming discovery with no curation, long clunky checkout flows, no clear post-purchase journey, buried wishlisting, no in-app seller communication, and generic UIs that don't match the premium feel fashion brands deserve.

Every solution was mapped directly to a problem. The home feed was built around a curated editorial experience with trending, gender, and category filters. Checkout was reduced to three steps with saved payment methods and no redirects. Order tracking gives users a real-time map view with delivery milestones. Favorites is always one tap away. Sellers can be messaged directly in-app, threaded by conversation.

The visual language was kept minimal and high contrast throughout, editorial in feel, intentional in every detail.
