Business Profitability Analysis for Insurance Company

The Problem

The company was newly acquired. The new owner had no visibility as to where company funds were going or why the company was not profitable.
The company was using an antiquated CRM system that required a lot of internal management.

The Solution

Data was exported from the existing CRM system into an Airtable database. From here, Make.com was used to analyze parts of the data and determine:
Agent performance
Daily commission received as a result of sales
Commission still owed to the company from Insurance companies
Policies canceled due to non-payment or cancellations from the clients
An exercise was also initiated to replace the old CRM system with a cloud-based system with better reporting.

The Result

The issue and source of the fund drain were identified and the company was restructured. The implementation of a new CRM system is still ongoing.
