Arbo is a startup specialized in the real estate market. The objective is to simplify, creating simple, technological and safe solutions for this market. Making processes easier for real estate agencies, brokers and anyone looking to sell, rent or buy properties.

Starting Point

The product had an outdated style, which led to sad users who couldn’t make the app work properly while on the field with potential tenents or landlords, the visual interface need a redesign that was in line with the new corporate branding release in the same year. The interface was lacking contrast, hierarchy and spacing.

Arbo for Brokers

The Arbo app goal is to provide a clear and objective visualization of the most important information from the real estate while doing business. The user can acess information from their potential clients, housing listings and their daily tasks and reminders.

Research

In collaboration with the Customer Service team, the design team analyzed, categorized, and reviewed over 300 daily app user feedback entries to identify key pain points hindering efficient task completion. This in-depth exploration revealed key pain points that were impeding users' ability to seamlessly navigate the app and efficiently complete their tasks. From app instabilities functions to unclear navigation elements, we gleaned valuable insights into the user experience that could be optimized for improved performance and satisfaction.

Redesign

The main goal with the app redesign was to improve the customer journey from the first contact with the brand to post-sale. An inconsistent visual identity undermines customer trust in the brand, leading to a loss of credibility and even greater difficulty in initiating and maintaining communication between Arbo and its customers, whatever the product or service.
Furthermore, clarity and readability in the application are fundamental characteristics in the Arbo redesign, as well as adapting validated UX guidelines in the layout elements, such as: touch areas, whitespace and margins, contrasts, hierarchies and accessibility. Therefore, applying the new visual identity also brings important improvements to the customer experience.

Result

Following the launch of the redesigned visuals, we received over 400 feedbacks from users in just three months. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many applauding the updated look and feel.
