Website Redesign for a Modern Barber Shop

The Stags Head Barbers approached me to redesign their website as they were relocating to a new space and wanted to update their online presence to reflect this change. Their previous website was outdated and didn’t capture the vibrant, modern atmosphere of their new location. They trusted me to create a fresh, clean, and user-friendly design that would elevate their brand and attract more local customers.

The previous website no longer aligned with the barber shop’s image and new location. It lacked modern design elements making it difficult for clients to engage with the brand. The main challenge was creating a website that not only showcased the shop’s fresh look but also simplified the user experience with limited images provided.

As the lead designer, I was responsible for:

• Defining the design vision based on client input and the shop’s relocation.

• Creating wireframes and prototypes.

• Leading the UI/UX design to ensure a clean, modern aesthetic that matched the new space.

• Collaborating with the client to ensure the design reflected their vision for the relocation and rebranding.

To align the website with the barber shop’s new identity, I conducted research into the local market and competitor sites, identifying features that would elevate the client’s online presence. The focus was on modernising the old design.

Based on the insights gathered, I designed wireframes to map out the site structure. This phase focused on improving the content flow and simplifying navigation to ensure an easy user experience.

Using the wireframes as a foundation, I created high-fidelity mockups that captured the new branding with a modern, professional look. I prioritised clear and bold imagery.

Throughout the process, I worked closely with the client to ensure the design accurately reflected their brand and the new location. Feedback loops helped refine the design and align it with their expectations.

The redesigned website, now live, achieved all of the client’s objectives:
