I had the opportunity to help create and manage the digital magazine/email newsletter for KristiLingSpencer.com, a platform focused on empowering individuals and organizations through thoughtful content, resources, and coaching.

My role involved working closely with Kristi to develop and execute an email strategy that would engage her audience, build relationships, and drive action, all while maintaining the personal and impactful tone that is central to her brand.

When we met, Kristi's email list was old and stale. I helped clean and import the list into Mailchimp, where we collaborated on the design and layout of the emails to ensure they were visually appealing and aligned with her overall branding.

After about 6 months, we pivoted to Kit (formerly ConvertKit) as our new newsletter platform to increase deliverability. I helped to segment and migrate Kristi's list to ensure a smooth transfer and to help re-engage subscribers who may have been missing the email deliveries prior to the migration.

Prior to migration, the average open rate for her list was 22%, with a click of 0.78%. After migrating and aggressively re-engaging and cleaning her subscriber list, her new average open rate is 39% and a CTR of 1.16%.

By analyzing open rates, click-through rates, and other key metrics, I worked to continually refine our approach and optimize the performance of each campaign. We tested different subject lines, calls to action, and content formats to see what resonated best with her community, ensuring that we were always delivering the highest-quality, most impactful content.
