Zimbabwe Football Team Rebranding

Problem + Goal

Zimbabwe’s national football team had long suffered from an outdated identity with no cultural depth, uninspiring kits, and weak fan connection. As ZIFA entered a new era of reform ahead of AFCON, the goal was to restore pride, unify the nation, and present a modern identity that could stand alongside Africa’s football giants.

Strategic Approach

We anchored the rebrand in three priorities:
Cultural authenticity — patterns and motifs from the Great Zimbabwe ruins.
Modern aesthetics — a badge and kit design fit for global competition.
Football fashion — kits designed for stadiums, streets, and beyond.
Result
The new circular badge integrates Zimbabwean heritage into a modern structure, while a bold, harmonized color system reflects the nation’s vibrancy. Kits were reimagined as symbols of pride, resilience, and belonging—ushering in a fresh legacy for Zimbabwean football and reconnecting the team with its people.
