Development of Rille Lifestyle Super App

Rille is an all-in-one lifestyle super app designed for the African market. It combines payments, food ordering, ride-hailing & package delivery, short-term rentals, and social commerce into one seamless ecosystem. The goal was to deliver an experience similar to WeChat or Grab, but localized to African needs with support for local currencies and stablecoins.

Nigeria and other African countries face fragmented digital services — users often need multiple apps to handle payments, transport, food, or rentals. Rille set out to unify these services into a single super app with a modern UI, scalable backend, and reliable admin system for managing the ecosystem.

Product Design (Figma): Designed mobile and web flows for each module — Pay, Food, Ride, Stay, and Shop. Created component libraries and high-fidelity prototypes to ensure consistency and usability across services.

Mobile Apps (iOS & Android): Built cross-platform apps in React Native (Expo). Integrated features like wallet payments, food ordering, ride-hailing maps, booking flows, and social commerce feeds.

Admin Dashboard: Developed a central admin panel for managing users, drivers, merchants, transactions, and listings. Enabled commission wallets, refunds, and ad management.

Backend & APIs: Architected a modular Golang + Rust backend with PostgreSQL/MongoDB for scalability. Implemented microservices for Payments, Wallets, Commerce, Fleet, and Stay.

Core Banking & Payments: Built wallet infrastructure with NGN, GHS, and stablecoin (USDC/EURC) support. Integrated Flutterwave/Paystack for fiat payments and Solana for stablecoin rails.

Cloud & Deployment: Deployed Dockerized microservices on AWS EC2/ECS with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions + Terraform).

Cross-Border & Compliance: Implemented ledger-based tracking for fiat + stablecoin transfers, escrow for rentals/rides, and rate conversion for cross-border payments.

Created one of the first true African lifestyle super apps, consolidating payments, commerce, and services into a single platform.

Enabled multi-currency support (NGN, GHS, USDC, EURC) for local and cross-border payments.

Delivered a production-ready app + backend + admin system + Figma design system, covering the full product lifecycle.
