Maoni Social Review Platform Development

Maoni is a social review and discovery platform that lets users share authentic reviews of products, services, and experiences. Unlike typical review sites, Maoni introduces a social feed element, where reviews are interactive, visual, and community-driven.

The brand needed a scalable platform to combine reviews + social engagement + monetization opportunities. They wanted both a mobile app for users to post and browse reviews, and a web admin dashboard to manage ads, users, and listings.

Product Design (Figma): Designed the full mobile and web experience in Figma — user flows, UI components, and admin dashboards. Ensured a clean, social-first interface optimized for engagement.

Mobile Apps (iOS & Android): Built a React Native (Expo) app for both platforms. Integrated a review pipeline supporting text, images, and video uploads.

Review + Ad System: Implemented a dual-feed system that merges user reviews with sponsored ads, ensuring smooth placement of promotions without hurting user experience.

Admin Dashboard: Developed a React + Go web dashboard for managing reviews, ads, and user moderation.

Backend & APIs: Architected scalable Golang + MongoDB backend, including review aggregation pipelines, authentication, and ad targeting logic.

Cloud & Deployment: Set up Dockerized microservices on AWS with CI/CD pipelines for automated deploys.

Created a unique social review experience blending authentic content with monetization opportunities.

Empowered admins with tools for review moderation and ad campaign management.

Delivered a production-ready cross-platform app + admin system + Figma design system for a complete product cycle.
