Overview

Charity Water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. The challenge is redesigning Charity Water's current Get Involved page to be more engaging and interactive while embodying the brand tone highlighted below and maintaining consistency with the rest of the site. The following is their branding vision.

Above all, we want our brand to be inspirational. Whether talking to our biggest donors or a ten-year-old campaigner, our goal is for every interaction with Charity Water to feel exciting and filled with possibility. We also want our brand to feel clear in both message and design. We believe in transparency, and that applies to more than financials. It means we work hard to ensure language is understandable and visuals feel spacious. We love simplicity.

Redesign Process

To be inspirational, the website needs to be alive by adding some human expression and natural emotion, specifically the nature of water and the life that builds around it. The color blue is easily associated with water, kindness, and hope. I emphasize the human expression with diversity and range of age to cover all the target market and the message of inclusiveness.
