At the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, OctaFX began exploring new regions, focusing on the African continent. This marked a significant expansion for the brand, beyond its established presence in the Asian and Indian markets. With Nigeria and South Africa as the primary entry points, OctaFX leveraged Africa's young demographic and growing digitalization to drive this initiative.

To build brand awareness, we launched a series of campaigns, including Dual Life and Mastery. These campaigns featured a mix of digital and offline ads, along with branded merchandise giveaways designed to capture the attention of Nigerian youths.

Collaborating with cinematographers and set designers, we developed creative direction for TV commercials and Forex courses tailored to Nigerians. These efforts were aimed at demystifying the basics of Forex trading.

To extend awareness, we implemented bus ads, leveraged platforms like Eskimi, Google, and Facebook, and incorporated TV commercials, radio ads, and an extensive social media presence. Although resizing animated and static ads into various formats was a tedious task, it was a rewarding and fun challenge.

To further enhance potential traders’ understanding of Forex, we produced a 7-episode YouTube series focused on how to trade. Each episode was designed to be engaging, featuring 14 Nigerian celebrities from diverse industries like fashion, media, business, and music. These celebrities, who had no prior connection to Forex, explained trading fundamentals in an easy-to-understand and relatable manner, making the lessons both attractive and effective.
