FindAssured - Landing page design & Branding

FindAssured is a cybersecurity aggregator, with primary goals of enabling businesses to easily access and contract security experts. It is a bridge where freelancers can easily find gigs to service the needs of businesses, ranging from security audits to employee training, and much more.

I was invited into the team as a contract Product Designer, to lead the charge towards designing an accessible, secure and inclusive product for all their users.

So far, we have been able to reach certain milestones, which include putting a landing page online, with a blog and learning resources to create awareness for the company and its products.

Immediately after being contracted, my first duty was to understand the product intricacies; who needed this product, why we're building it and for what purpose. After a considerate amount of back and fourth discussions with the founders, the next task was to carry out a little survey amongst friends and close contacts. Everyone in the team participated in this exercise and we discovered to a better extent what people's primary worries about cyber security are. This defined our next step!

The landing page:

We decided to build a landing page first, before the main product. The goals of this page will primarily be to serve as a first point of contact for business owners, security experts and people who may be interested in our product, or security as a whole. We wanted this page to also showcase the language and tone of our intended brand and to send a viable sense of information through our rich blog contents and learning materials.

As the sole designer, my role was to come up with a concept that would cater for all this concerns. I arrived at this design:
