Designing a smarter access & safety ecosystem for schools, estates, workplaces, and communities.

NukiePass is an access and safety platform for schools, residential estates, workplaces, and communities. It helps teams manage who is requesting entry, who can approve it, and what happens at each step. Across these environments, access often depends on disconnected processes: calls, paper records, manual checks, and messages that are difficult to track. NukiePass brings those steps into one experience.

Access looks different in every organization, but the core questions are the same: Who is arriving? Are they authorized? Who needs to verify them? And how can the organization keep a reliable record? The challenge was to design a mobile experience that could support different people and approval processes while keeping each step clear.

Schools: students, parents, staff, visitors, and security teams

Residential estates: residents, guests, contractors, and security teams

Workplaces: employees, visitors, contractors, and facilities teams

Communities: members, guests, administrators, and security teams.

I mapped the experience around a shared access journey:

Identify → Authorize → Verify → Grant access → Notify → Record

I designed around the people involved in that journey: the organization managing access, the person authorizing a visit, the visitor requesting entry, and the security team verifying the request. This helped connect the different screens into one end-to-end flow.

A simple and clean onboarding flow covering all users of Nukiepass.

The authentication flow comprises account setup, login by passcode and biometrics, OTP verification, and passcode recovery.

I translated NukiePass’s complex access process into clear, role-based experiences for visitors, authorized users, security teams, and administrators. I designed the core mobile app flows, from onboarding and account verification to access approval and activity records, so each person can understand what to do and what happens next.
