At its core, Cocoa Love celebrates simple pleasures. Hot drinks, fresh pastries, and small treats shared in a calm, welcoming environment.

The Challenge

The goal for Cocoa Love was to create a brand identity that felt warm and memorable while still standing out in a busy café market.
The challenge was to:
• Create a visual identity that feels cozy and romantic without becoming overly soft or generic • Design packaging and in store materials that feel giftable and consistent across every touchpoint • Build a flexible system that works across menus, takeaway cups, boxes, signage, and seasonal campaigns

The Solution

The identity for Cocoa Love was crafted to reflect warmth, sweetness, and a gentle sense of nostalgia.
The logo uses rounded, friendly letterforms with heart details to reinforce the emotional side of the brand. A custom illustrated tree icon adds a signature element that feels playful and memorable while tying into seasonal storytelling.
The colour palette is built around deep cocoa tones paired with soft pink accents. This contrast creates a rich, comforting base while still keeping the brand light and inviting.
A set of simple line illustrations inspired by winter treats, gifts, and cozy moments forms a repeatable pattern system that brings personality to packaging and printed materials.

Packaging and Brand Experience

The Cocoa Love identity carries seamlessly across every customer touchpoint.
From takeaway cups and pastry sleeves to gift boxes, loyalty cards, and menus, the system remains consistent through colour, pattern, and typography. The packaging is designed to feel like part of the experience, something you would happily carry, gift, or photograph.
In store materials like signage and menus use the same visual language, making the space feel cohesive and intentional from the outside in.
