Project Overview

Goal: Create a responsive health dashboard that supports mental health, chronic condition tracking, and lifestyle optimization.
Scope: Dashboard screen only (MVP).
Platform: Mobile-first, tablet-optimized.
Process: Research → JTBD → Wireframes → Visual Design → Iteration.

Research & Insights

Full research findings, including survey analysis and interview insights, are available in a separate case study.
Participants: 43 total (34 women, 9 men)
Methods: Online survey, in-depth interviews, JTBD mapping
Key Pain Points:
Notification overload
Feature gaps or excessive complexity
Subscription barriers to essential functionality
Lack of device integration
Jobs to Be Done (shortened):
Monitor multiple conditions in one place
Get timely reminders and feedback
Share clean data with a doctor or therapist

Design Strategy

Visual tone: soft, friendly, and slightly playful — intentionally non-clinical. Structure: modular layout with customizable widgets. Priorities: clarity, calmness, and approachability for long-term health use.

Customization Logic

Users can:
Toggle widgets on/off
Reorder layout based on personal preference
Retain setup state between sessions
"Your health. Your priorities. Your layout."

Next Steps & Success Metrics

Planned metrics:
Widget engagement rate
Daily return/check-in rate
Reminder interaction
Data export frequency
Next steps:
Expand usability testing group (7–10 users)
Refine onboarding
Develop MVP with syncing to selected devices
Launch beta with 50 users
