A mixed-media collage poster where every element was meticulously sourced from different places and pieced together.
This work was born out of a specific mood caught between worlds: finishing the intense journey of Stranger Things and Welcome to Derry, diving back into the surrealism of Twin Peaks, and anxiously awaiting the next season of From. It’s a visual exploration of mystery and unease.
Easter Egg: The 0/1 binary code at the bottom decodes to "Don't look for help."
This marks the very first poster I created. I spent a significant amount of time experimenting and searching for the exact mood I wanted to convey. Interestingly, both these pieces in the series were developed during a single lesson—a deliberate exercise in exploring two completely contrasting emotional landscapes.
The challenge for these two pieces was to build a composition using only my own photography. I used shots of my hands and ivy captured in early 2022 in Odesa, Ukraine. My goal was to find that haunting middle ground where a classic fairytale morphs into a horror story—organic, unsettling, and surreal.
Heavily inspired by Magdiel Lopez. The challenge was to take 'hard influence' from a master and translate it into my own work. I experimented with bold compositions and geometric elements, trying to find the perfect balance: a piece that feels both close to the original inspiration and far enough away to stand on its own.
A deep dive into stylistic exploration. The goal for these three pieces was to research various references and strictly adhere to a chosen aesthetic. I’ve always been drawn to 'patchy,' collage-style compositions, so I truly immersed myself in the process—layering textures and fragments to find a cohesive visual language.
Thanks for attention!
