Project Designation:

Prevailing Hurdles:
Over its tenure, Picallex underwent development with varied technological stacks. This meant multiple chefs in the kitchen, leading to a mosaic of UI and UX impressions. Absent were the guiding hands of a specialized design battalion or a UX maestro.
Project Imperative:
With Picallex on a swift upward trajectory, the imperative was clear: an overhaul of the visual interface, which, in its current state, was less than optimal and left the door ajar for competitors.

UI Design Strategy:

Design Blueprint:
Upon distilling insights from user research, the maiden endeavor was to sculpt a new Design System. This system was envisioned to be the golden thread weaving through the myriad apps on the platform. Recognizing the magnitude of the redesign, a phased approach was adopted, starting with the Chat App and sequentially addressing the Drivers App, Manager App, Orders App, and culminating with the Activity Stream App.

Handpicking and grooming a promising junior front end developer to spearhead the emergent UX division.
Marshaling a synergistic squad from both Crafter and PicallEx, operating under the aegis of the CTO.
This team embarked on a journey to conceptualize a gamut of screens, laying the bedrock for the Design System's foundational elements. With the Design System blueprint in hand, the team bifurcated. One brigade was entrusted with crafting the UI lexicon for React, while the other delved into the rejuvenation of the entire platform, leveraging the freshly minted Design System.
