A Business at a Breaking Point

Conllave — formerly known as Guardabox — was a family-owned self-storage facility in Guadalajara preparing to separate from its parent franchise and operate as an independent brand. The transition exposed deep-rooted operational and identity challenges that threatened the business's viability.
The most urgent issue: 40 clients carrying 3 to 10 months of unpaid rent, representing 20% of total storage capacity tied up in non-paying accounts. There was no formal collections process in place, no escalation protocol, and no clear contractual enforcement mechanism. The business was absorbing significant losses month after month with no structured path to recovery.

A Six-Part Transformation

When Conllave separated from the Guardabox franchise, it had no brand equity to carry forward. The name, the visual language, the client relationships — all had to be rebuilt from scratch. The rebrand wasn't cosmetic. It was strategic infrastructure.
The new name Conllave — a Spanish play on "con llave" (with a key) — anchored the brand in a concept that is intuitive, memorable, and directly tied to the core service promise: security, access, and trust. Every visual and verbal element was designed to reinforce that promise at scale.
