The Space Between

A digital exhibition created for SAINT Church in London, documenting the transformation and refurbishment of the church over time.

Designed by London studio OMSE, the experience was conceived as a visual archive rather than a traditional website. I handled the front-end development and WordPress implementation, translating their design into an interactive, responsive experience.

The exhibition uses an Instagram-inspired visual language to tell the story of the refurbishment through photography.

Images are arranged within a playful, irregular grid rather than a conventional gallery layout. Visitors can explore the project chronologically, select individual dates and move through image carousels to see the building gradually change over time.

The aim was to keep the interface minimal and let the photography take centre stage while still making a large collection of imagery enjoyable to explore.

I worked closely with OMSE to translate their creative direction into a working digital experience.

The result is a lightweight digital exhibition that allows visitors to explore the transformation of SAINT Church through time, while retaining the strong visual identity created by OMSE.
