Vibra Energia, formerly known as Petrobras BR, is the largest distributor of fuels and lubricants in Brazil. In addition to owning the Lubrax+ lubricants brand, it also holds a 50% partnership in the VEM company, which manages the convenience stores BR Mania and Local Americanas.
The Petrobras Premmia app is the loyalty program for Petrobras gas stations, where customers are rewarded for refueling or making purchases/services at BR Mania or Lubrax+.
The Project
BR Mania Integration in the Petrobras Premmia
Currently, the Petrobras Premmia app only allows payment through refueling transactions.
With the goal of increasing the number of financial transactions and enhancing the redemption process within the app, the Business and Innovation team at Vibra Energia, in collaboration with the Digital team at VEM, have come together to create a smoother, secure, and unified experience within the Premmia app.
Challenges
Adding the BR Mania Payment Flow
The first challenge is closely related to increasing the number of transactions, thereby boosting the app's revenue and gathering purchase and customer behavior information.
Enhancing Benefit Redemption Flow
The current benefit redemption process is entirely conducted through the attendant's machine. The customer views the available benefit but needs to input their CPF and Premmia password on the attendant's computer, potentially compromising the security of the customer's account.

We enhanced the visibility of products available for redemption.

Usability test participants responded positively to the new interface, successfully completing the proposed activities.
