Zaksha: parental control for Indian families

Vasu Sheoran

Vasu Sheoran

A subscription parental-control service for Indian families. It filters content at the DNS level across iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac, locks the apps a parent picks so a child cannot remove them, and alerts parents on WhatsApp.
I built and run all of it: the product, the Go backend, the DNS filtering, the AWS infrastructure and billing. It has paying subscribers in production.
Recently I moved its live database from SQLite to Postgres on Amazon RDS, in a maintenance-window cutover gated by a 73-case contract test suite.
