Challenge
Chef Omelz needed a visual identity that could appeal to both premium clients and food entrepreneurs. The design had to balance culinary artistry with business professionalism, elegant enough for private dining, yet structured for consulting and brand partnerships.
Approach
I began by exploring visual cues that evoke flavour, craftsmanship, and intimacy. The concept centered on the fusion of tradition and innovation, mirroring Chef Omelz’s philosophy of creating meals that feel familiar yet elevated.
The tone of voice was designed to be warm, confident, and refined, while the visuals leaned on minimalism and luxury aesthetics, using texture, depth, and subtle waves to represent aroma and movement in food.
Color Palette: Black and gold — symbolizing luxury, mastery, and depth of flavor
Typography: Elegant serif paired with clean sans-serif for balance
Logo Design: A minimal monogram blending culinary tools into the letter “O”
Motion Elements: Subtle smoke-like transitions, elegant fade-ins, and glows that mimic candlelight and fine dining ambiance
