How I Brought a Modern, Scalable Mental Health Website to Life in Webflow

Project Overview

The design team delivered a clean and compassionate visual direction that balanced clinical professionalism with warmth and approachability. My role was to build the site end-to-end in Webflow, ensuring that every interaction, animation, and system integration worked seamlessly across 20+ unique pages and 38 custom template pages. From CMS structure to automation, every part of the build was optimized for scalability, ease of maintenance, and smooth collaboration with the client’s internal team.

Process & Tools

Development Framework: I started with Finsweet’s Client-First setup and integrated Attributes V2 to manage dynamic filtering, CMS-driven content, and modular components efficiently. Advanced Interactivity: The website features advanced animations using GSAP for smooth motion effects and Swiper.js for sliders and dynamic content areas. This approach allowed for more expressive storytelling while maintaining optimal site performance. Automation & Optimization: To improve operational efficiency, I implemented Make (Integromat) automations that streamline form submissions, and notifications. The site was also fine-tuned for load performance and accessibility.

Tools Used:

Challenges and Solutions

Challenge: Managing complexity across 20+ pages and 38 unique templates without losing design consistency.
Solution: I created reusable Webflow components and leveraged global classes within the Client-First framework. This ensured fast iteration, consistent styling, and reduced future maintenance overhead. Challenge: Balancing advanced motion design with performance. Solution: I implemented GSAP-based animations conditionally—triggered only when in view—to reduce render load and maintain a smooth browsing experience across devices.
