RoomAid

Keep everyone on the same page with shared tasks, grocery lists, and availability updates.

The Problem Shared living can easily become stressful. Responsibilities add up, people track them in different ways, and it’s hard to know who is doing what. Group chats add another layer of pressure because every update feels like it needs a response. Over time, this creates tension and makes it harder to focus, work, and enjoy quality time at home.
The Approach RoomAid is designed to make shared living clearer and calmer. Instead of relying on constant messaging, the app focuses on signals: availability, tasks, and household updates that are easy to see without demanding replies. The goal is to reduce friction, support focus time, and create more space for both independence and connection.
The Build I’m designing RoomAid alongside a developer, and we’re preparing to launch the iOS app on the App Store in September 2025. I've been the solo designer working on UI, branding, marketing, and product strategy. We’re looking forward to creating a healthier, more transparent way to live together.
