Problem Statement
In the increasingly digital healthcare environment, patients and healthcare providers are often met with fragmented systems that lack efficiency and cohesiveness. Patients struggle to book appointments, track their medical records, and consult with doctors without facing challenges like confusing interfaces, disconnected services, and poor user experiences. Similarly, healthcare professionals face difficulties in managing patient appointments, records, and communications. Eclinic set out to resolve these issues by creating a unified, user-friendly mobile platform that simplifies healthcare management for both patients and doctors.
My Role and Approach
As the UI/UX Designer for Eclinic, my role was to design a seamless mobile app experience that would cater to both patients and healthcare providers. The goal was to develop a platform that offered an easy-to-navigate, accessible interface that solved the disjointed and inefficient experiences commonly associated with existing healthcare apps.
To ensure the solution was user-focused, I initiated the project by conducting thorough user research, including patient interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis of similar healthcare platforms. These insights guided me through the design process, ensuring that the final product addressed the actual needs of end-users. My responsibilities included wireframing, prototyping, iterative testing, and high-fidelity design, with a focus on maintaining clarity and functionality throughout the user journey.
Results
The Eclinic mobile app transformed the way healthcare services were delivered and managed, resulting in measurable improvements in both patient and provider satisfaction. The key outcomes included:
