In this concept, I explored how users could interact with their digital wallets in a more visual, intuitive, and private way. Instead of static balance displays, I introduced a Privacy Mode
Everything you see here - from the card stack to the balance transitions - was built in Figma, using only vector elements, smart animations, and layered effects. The liquid glass effect gives the cards a futuristic presence while keeping it functional.
Project Goal
The goal was to reimagine how users interact with financial data, striking the right balance between aesthetic appeal and privacy.
I asked myself:
How can we make digital wallets feel more alive, expressive, and secure - without sacrificing clarity or usability?
Design Process
Card UI: All credit cards were designed in Figma, each with its own unique style, lighting, and identity.
Liquid Glass: I applied a custom glass effect by manipulating lighting, refraction, depth, dispersion, and frosting - inspired by Apple’s evolving UI language.
Balance Reveal: Balances are only shown in Normal Mode. In Privacy Mode, they remain obscured until toggled. For added interactivity, individual balances are revealed on hover, allowing for focused exploration without exposing all data at once.

Prototyping
All interactions were built directly in Figma, using:
Nested Components: For organized structure and modular animation control.
Component Variants: Three key states - Normal Mode, Privacy Mode, and an intermediate transition state triggered automatically to control the animation flow and timing.
Smart Animate: Smooth transitions between states to give the Liquid Glass effect a realistic and responsive feel.
Click-to-Reveal: In Privacy Mode, balances are hidden by default and appear only on hover, adding an extra layer of privacy and interaction control.
The entire experience was crafted to feel seamless, intentional, and tactile - as if you're truly interacting with a next-gen wallet interface.
This project made me think more deeply about where and how the glass effect can enhance UX - without compromising accessibility.
Not all information needs to be constantly visible - sometimes, intentional reveal is the most satisfying and secure interaction.
It also confirmed how far Figma can be pushed on its own. Liquid glass, depth, animated transitions - no 3D, no plugins, no external tools.
