Cartridge Controller x AVNU: Motion Design

Cartridge Controller and AVNU needed to announce a strategic partnership that solved a critical Web3 gaming friction point, new players getting stuck without gas fees. The solution was innovative but complex: a seamless onboarding flow combining embedded wallets, passkeys, session tokens, and paymaster technology. The task was to distill this technical integration into compelling motion graphics that resonated with both gamers and crypto enthusiasts within an aggressive 24-hour turnaround.

I designed and produced all motion graphics assets in After Effects, creating a narrative arc that walked viewers through the onboarding journey. I crafted custom illustrations that visualized the technical flow in an accessible, visually engaging way. Beyond the motion itself, I developed the supporting copy and messaging hierarchy to ensure each frame communicated clearly without overwhelming the audience with Web3 jargon.

The design prioritized clarity over complexity—breaking down the multi-step process (arrive → swap → play) into intuitive visual beats that kept pace with the narrative flow.

Completed and launched in under 24 hours, demonstrating rapid creative execution without compromising quality or clarity.

The partnership motion launched successfully on X (Twitter), effectively communicating the value proposition to the community. The streamlined onboarding flow, combined with clear visual communication, helped position both Cartridge Controller and AVNU as leaders in removing Web3 gaming barriers.
