Visual direction and hero section for a cybersecurity training platform.
Concept work. Not a real project.

Context

Phished helps companies train employees against phishing and human-error breaches through automated simulations, gamified sessions, and AI-driven email security. Their buyers are security leads and IT partners. Their users are thousands of ordinary employees who have been burned by boring, punishing security training.
I had a logo and starting color palette, and I had to define a visual direction and build a website section in that direction.

The Challenge

Cybersecurity marketing has a look: dark backgrounds, padlocks, abstract networks, stock hackers. It reads secure, but it also looks the same everywhere and often feels intimidating to the people who actually use the product.
Phished already had starting logo and color palette but it looked like any other brand in the space. The job was to make it look enterprise safe and human at the same time and avoid looking like just another company.

Approach

I explored the brand direction around pattern and anomaly. A dot grid where one point lights up became the visual motif: identifying phishing threats among patterns. I introduced a crisp blue to give the brand more personality, kept the existing turquoise for emphasis and CTAs
I used real people photography to bring a human element into the hero. I also added a product UI card showing what employees actually interact with: progress, team activity, zero incidents.

Results

A sleek, modern look that does not feel like another cybersecurity company. Serious and enterprise-ready for buyers, but human and approachable for the people being trained.
Thanks for reading! I partner with founders to design and build products and websites that solve real user needs and support their business goals. Whether you’re building an MVP, redesigning an existing product, or rethinking your website, I’d be happy to help.
