When I was studying in Malaysia for an exchange program, I was also part of a scholarship awardee community. Here, we all organised some projects and assigned tasks to each other including this social media engagement project, by which not only we introduced about the scholarship program —as part of our contribution to the nation, Indonesia, who granted us the scholarship— but also promoted Malaysia as a host country for studying abroad.

I was tasked to make this compilation of top ten places in Penang, Malaysia. I wrote the content and took the photos by myself. At first, I thought I might not be able to do much in an island kind of place. However, all those doubting thoughts were proved wrong instantly! They have heritage town, touristy landmarks, culinary paradise, and never ending festivals from where we can learn further about their history and culture.
