Re-brand for my freelance business
Switch it up design is my freelance design business.
When I started working on my own I didn’t put the effort into branding and I just had a very simple and plain logo. It wasn’t versatile, didn’t stand out and it couldn’t be used in any different colours or ways.
The Original design
I very quickly realised the need for a proper brand so all my marketing, proposals and social media had a clear identity and style that matched.
When creating the new logo I was thinking about a symbol that could be used and recognised in many different ways. I trialled many different fonts and symbols before creating this one. I like how it stands out on its own, or it can act as a logo or it can be used as a part of the heading. This design works in all of my brand colours and can be used across all my material to bring everything together and give a cohesive look.
I now have a very clear guide on what fonts, and colours I should use and I have a very versatile range of recognisable logo variations to suit any occasion.
