Marketing and Shopping Website Redesign

Seone, an interior and furniture design company, specializing in transforming offices and living spaces, are my client on this project. They tailor solutions that elevate productivity in the workplace and comfort at home, designing cohesive, end-to-end experiences, that connect people with their own spaces.

This Project's Goal

Seone engaged me to reimagine their digital presence, positioning the website as a true extension of their business and a high-performance lead generator. The objectives were to:
Present Seone’s portfolio and custom furniture line in a clear, trustworthy, and visually compelling way to their target users.
Streamline the user journey from discovery → interest → inquiry, reducing friction at every step
3. Implement conversion-focused features (e.g., “Browse our collections,” style guide downloads) to boost qualified leads by at least 30%.

Development Issues

Poor Navigation: Projects were buried under deep menus, making it hard for prospects to get to relevant items and purchase.
Slow Load Times: Large, unoptimized images made pages sluggish (average 4.2 s), hurting both UX (user experience) and SEO .
Mobile Usability Problems: On phones, I found that the navigation collapsed into unlabelled hamburger menus, and image carousels were unresponsive, leading to a 65% mobile bounce rate.

What I Did

Simplified the Structure:
Rebuilt for clear menus: “Shop, Craftmanship” pages.
Added hover previews so users could look through items without extra clicks.
Boosted Performance Specifics:
Switched to for less heavy images, + optimizing for load time, dropping from 4.2s to 1.8s.
Inlined critical CSS and deferred code to hit a “97” on Google's Page Score
Stronger Calls to Action:
Streamlined content to guide users through to the Call To Action (CTA) buttons.
Launched a “Seone Style Guide” PDF download, for their customers.
A/B tested Call To Action wording, boosting click-throughs.
Mobile-First Design:
Redesigned the menu with clear labels for better experience.
Rebuilt carousels with Swiper.js for smooth, responsive movement.
