Bruce Wood Capital is a boutique hedge fund management firm serving a selective network of sophisticated investors and institutions. Their focus is long-term stability, disciplined strategy, and wealth growth. My role was to build a brand identity that reflects this level of financial expertise while projecting credibility, intelligence, and quiet confidence.

Understanding the Brand

The first step was understanding the personality of Bruce Wood Capital — a firm that doesn’t rely on flashy marketing, but on trust, performance, and strategic insight. The brand needed to communicate:
stability and long-term vision
professionalism without unnecessary complexity
a sophisticated, understated tone suitable for high-net-worth clients
clarity across digital and physical touchpoints
This informed the visual direction from the very beginning.

Logo, Color System & Typography

The visual identity is built around a clean, modern, and highly legible logo that feels strong without being loud. Every element of the system was crafted to reflect financial discipline and premium positioning.
Color palette:
A set of deep, confident tones paired with neutral supporting shades, chosen to evoke trust, heritage, and financial stability. The palette is suitable for both luxury print finishes and digital dashboards.
Typography system:
A polished, contemporary type hierarchy designed for clarity in reports, pitch decks, website sections, and printed collateral.

Brand Applications

Once the core identity was established, I extended the visual system into essential brand assets used across the firm’s communication.
This included:
Stationery: business cards, letterheads, envelopes, documentation templates
Large-format outdoor billboards: designed to reflect authority and high-level positioning
Presentation design: pitch deck templates and investment presentation layouts emphasizing structure, hierarchy, and clear narrative flow
Every application followed the same principles: precision, consistency, and a premium feel.

Tools & Workflow

The identity was developed using Adobe Illustrator for logo and vector elements, Adobe InDesign for presentation and document layouts, Photoshop for mockups, and Figma for system exploration and digital-ready assets.
