WiFi-Controlled Smart Bulb Box Design – URI Lighting

This packaging design was developed for a smart WiFi-enabled LED bulb under the brand URI Lighting. The goal was to build a modern, minimal, and technically clear box that represents smart tech and energy efficiency, while keeping packaging compact and production-friendly.

⚙️ Challenges Faced:

Designing for a custom dieline box with exact panel proportions

Balancing product photography, icons, logo, and white space

Creating a clean layout that still showcases smart features

Ensuring print specs and dieline accuracy for production

Maintaining alignment across the front, sides, and tuck panels

🎨 Creative Approach:

I chose a white, minimalist base to reflect a modern, smart-home aesthetic. Gradient bulb visual adds a tech-pop feel. Feature icons were custom-designed and aligned perfectly above the dieline fold. Side panels carry regulatory and brand information in a clear hierarchy.

The dieline layout was prepared for 65mm x 120mm dimensions, with bleed, fold lines, and back panel orientation taken into consideration. Packaging was designed in CMYK 4-color on white cardboard for mass production.
