Project Goal

I worked on a project working under a client who gave me the project to create a site for Brain and Spine page based on designs from a previous designer. However, when the site went live, the client was not satisfied with the final product. Upon further examination, I discovered that the designs themselves were the root of the problem. The colors and layout did not translate well to the live site and were not conducive to a positive user experience. Despite my best efforts to tweak the design, the client remained unhappy with the overall look and feel of the site. It was clear that a complete redesign was necessary to meet the client's expectations and ensure a successful outcome for their business.

Solution

As I worked under a client, we were brainstorming together for a project for his client. Our task was to get a copy of the homepage ready and then I designed the homepage from scratch, which involved creating wireframes, mockups, and Webflow development. During the design process, my client and I also collaborated on choosing the colours for the homepage. We updated the old style guide with the new upgraded colours that were derived from the logo to ensure that the design was consistent with the client's branding and vision. In addition to designing and developing the homepage, I also redesigned two more pages as part of the project. These included creating wireframes, and mockups, and developing them in Webflow. Working closely with my client, we ensured that these pages were consistent with the overall design and branding of the website. Through effective communication and collaboration, we were able to complete the redesign and development of these pages within the deadline. In addition to the homepage and the two redesigned pages, The client also needed three contact forms for three different purposes as part of the project. These contact forms required some custom coding to include a country code feature, which was a specific requirement from the client. Overall, this project showcased the importance of building strong relationships with clients, the power of teamwork and effective communication, and the benefits of being versatile and adaptable in taking on a variety of design and development challenges while meeting the project's deadline.
