The Problem
Formerly known as Diza Empire, Universe Beauty was rebranding into a premium self-care and sensual wellness destination, but the website didn’t reflect that shift. Traffic was low, conversions were dropping at checkout, and the mobile experience was inconsistent. At the same time, the brand was preparing to launch a new skincare range and needed a digital experience that could support product sales and spa bookings.

Approach

I led the project end-to-end, starting with deep UX research to understand how customers discover, evaluate, and purchase beauty products. Using analytics, funnel analysis, and user surveys, I uncovered friction points across checkout, navigation, mobile usability, and site performance. These insights shaped a clear UX strategy focused on clarity, speed, trust, and a luxury-first experience.

The Solution

I redesigned and rebuilt the Universe Beauty website from the ground up. The experience features a refined information architecture, a responsive, high-end UI, and a streamlined checkout flow to reduce abandonment. Navigation was simplified to better align with customer expectations, while user-generated content and social proof were introduced early to build trust. The site was fully optimised for mobile and performance, and integrated both e-commerce and spa booking functionality to support the brand’s evolving offering.

Outcome

The new website increased traffic by 30% post-launch. Bounce rates dropped, mobile engagement improved, and the simplified checkout flow led to stronger conversions. Universe Beauty now has a digital presence that feels fast, luxurious, and trustworthy one that supports both product sales and service bookings.
