Meridian — Dashboard UI & Motion System (Self-Directed Case Study)

Meridian is a self-directed concept for a B2B SaaS analytics dashboard, built to explore how far a design system can go when motion is treated as core to the UX — not an afterthought.
The project covers a full desktop dashboard UI, then extends into an animated sequence built in Jitter — showing how data visualizations, state changes, and navigation would actually feel in-product.
Meridian is also built as a living design system rather than a static reference. Using design tokens in Figma, the system is meant to scale and update in place — so when colors, spacing, or components change, they propagate through the file instead of triggering another "final_v3" PDF that half the team never opens. It's built for internal design teams who need a single source of truth, not a snapshot that goes stale the moment someone updates a button radius. The brand guidelines themselves live as an interactive site built in Figma Sites, rather than a slide deck — navigable and explorable, always reflecting the current state of the system.
If your team is still passing around outdated PDFs and reconciling who has the "right" version of the brand guidelines, this is the kind of system I build instead — one your team can actually maintain.
Deliverables shown: Design token–based UI system, interactive brand guidelines (Figma Sites), desktop dashboard mockup, Jitter-animated dashboard sequence, motion specs
Tools: Figma, Figma Sites, Jitter, Design Tokens
