Unique Prints & Your Brew: £1m+ Sales, One Employee

I built an ecommerce business from a standing start under the Unique Prints and Your Brew brands. The business operated Shopify stores alongside Etsy, eBay and Amazon sales channels.

Over four years, it generated more than £1 million in total sales. I was the business's only employee, so the processes behind the sales channels had to support the practical demands of running the business.

I developed process automation to help manage that work. During COVID, when hiring became difficult, my business moved towards removing slow, manual copying and rekeying and replacing repeated work with automated processes. This became part of my wider progression from ecommerce into process automation and applied AI.

I subsequently sold the business. The combination of building the sales channels, managing the operation as the sole employee and developing supporting automation gives me direct experience of the commercial and operational pressures founders face.

The £1 million figure is total sales across four years; it is not an annual sales figure or the business's sale price.
